Privacy notice

We are Yobot, an Australian business based in Brisbane and South East Queensland. We put AI in the jobs small businesses already do, and run it for them. We respect your privacy, and we follow the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written plainly. It is not legal advice.

What we collect

We keep this small. We collect:

• Your name and email address.
• What you tell us about your business through our forms and our First Job Builder. That includes your answers and the interview transcript.
• Basic analytics about how the site is used, so we can see what is working.

We do not collect sensitive information, such as health, racial or religious details. Please do not submit it through our forms.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Send you the thing you asked for, such as a reply or a call time.
• Follow up with you about Yobot.
• Understand and improve the site.
• Prepare for a strategy call, if you ask for one.

The First Job Builder

When you use the First Job Builder, your answers are sent to an AI model provider so Atlas can run the conversation. We store your email and answers so we can follow up with you afterwards. If you share your website address, Atlas fetches that public page during the conversation, and we store the transcript so our team can review the quality of what Atlas produces. No report is emailed to you. What you tell the First Job Builder is stored for our team, and Joe goes through your map with you on your call.

If you enter your email to get a private link to your prototype, your email and your map go to Joe. We save the prototype so the link works, and we do not email it to you.

We do not use your data to train AI models. If we ever reuse something as an example, we de-identify it first, so it cannot be traced back to you.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and send email. That includes our hosting provider, our email provider, and the AI model provider behind the First Job Builder. Some of these providers may process data outside Australia. We choose providers that take privacy seriously, and we share only what is needed to do the job.

Storage and retention

We keep your details only as long as we need them to follow up with you and run our business. After that, we remove them. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. You can:

• Ask us what we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Unsubscribe from our emails at any time, using the link in the email or by contacting us.

To make any of these requests, just contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits, understand the Discovery funnel and see which pages help. Yobot uses this information to improve the site, not for advertising or to sell visitor profiles.
